2023: *When The Lizard Rates Itself...*

DUE to my new found practice of my aged long desired videography editing, I have almost gone write-rusty, however, I had the jingling of the bell for 2023 once again in Nigeria and I say Alhamdulilahi, and as the Christian faith will put it, ebenezer, not excluding the originality of the believed african worship of ifa Olokun asorodayo..., I return all glory back to simply yet the biggest reference- God Almighty!
It is no need anymore, that political office holders have taken to the street if not to the very centre of everyone's bed in our bedrooms, to self praise themselves on what they called "achievements", sad more is the receivers who should know better but are picking restlessly from the crumbs from this sudden powerful self-crowned lord: reminiscent of Lazarus of blessed memory but in a shameless manner this time around! and worse still are they are.made the skin to the drum of instability beaten by their dogs at noise making called supporters but better put as sycophants; who are ready to even bite even with the crumbs still chewing inside their mouths, with respect to the goat, a wumbrant's eating style notwithstanding, the poverty clutched to their throats, but celebrates the temporary shift off poverty core in just a breath of skin of their teeths, in less than a second; and has consequently concluded life can never be well with him or her without blaring into high hell the supposed- chronicles of their office-cake holder.
It is not expected that this epistle so to speak will meet you well, if you belong to any of these categories, safe for those who knows what is just, right and trite.
Those who may be okay, will be those who do not believe in anything other than given what is due back to the society without sentiments and those who knows that going by what we have today, the future is not bright for this nation if we continue to parambulate in this lizard game as a nation in the 21st speed of light century.
May we just sit back a little and ask ourselves, why in the first instance did we have whosoever, today as a President, Governor, NASS and what have you? This will help us know if we have being able to put our peg where it should be.
We may also immediately, quickly ask ourselves what is in those offices as rights and previleges not excluding access to financial monthly earnings, and "bag shiftings" for this and that, not captured in black and white accounting books, same for the values of what that or such offices are used to ordinary attract.
I am more interested in seeing to getting the people to be able to feed and feed others than, the people or selected mini-micro micro-zoom: who turned out to be the skin to their drum through which they emit their loads of self salutations.
The proverbial submission of a lizard that it nods when it lands, is now more drawable as we see it happen and as such no more a proverbial issue or not hyperbole but a reality as we see lizards fall on daily bases and nods, it could simply have passed also as a character of the lizard; however, drawing it to the political circle, is simply drawing from the way our politicians write the scripts, mark the scripts and not only awarded themselves marks but also take to the larger society to rate themselves.
We have EXECUTIVE office holders which includes office of the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, that of the office of the Governors of the states and the offices of the Chairmen of the Local Government Areas, while we also have that of the LEGISLATIVE offices which comprises of the Senate, House of Reps, State Houses of Assembly and of course that of the Councilors, all of whom came to offices by votes casted at elections.
There is a tricky submission by the enemies of the people that, says that the offices of the legislators are not meant for executing projects but to make laws, and it is high time that this satanic deceit stop and massively rejected by the people who bears the brunt from such misleading homorngous engineered lies.
Before proceeding, I had like to reference a particular drain pipe called SECURITY VOTE, through which some state Governors get as much as N400m per month or more, by way of extension of such, the Senate is believed to take home around N200m and the House of Reps member gets a N100m per year, WRAPPED as CONSTITUENCY PROJECTS! All of these are expected to reach every persons, from all the nooks and crannies of where they each represent by ways of LIFTING PEOPLE out of poverty, through ensuring support to access for basic provision of social amenities which the people they represents suffers from without discrimination along ANY LINE or LINES, none...
One member or the Federal House of Reps representating Kaltungo/Shongom Federal Constituency in Gombe State once said while speaking in a panel at an event to mark Nigeria’s 60th independence anniversary: and I quote "..the money includes our monthly salary and office running costs, while we spent the money on constituents’ high demands, *lol*; our salary received monthly is N800,000 (EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA ONLY) and the office running cost of a member of the House of Representatives is N8.5m.Those of you who know, know that I said" he concludes in a caricature of such a serious matter, meaning a House of Reps members earns monthly between NINE MILLION THREE HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA (N9.3m) or more, as once posited by a claimant too.
In another drama, Senator Sheu Sani from Kaduna, broke the jaw of the Senate when he told us that they earn N500,000 less that of the members of Rep as they earn SEVEN HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND NAIRA (N750,000) and ship home THIRTEEN MILLION, FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND NAIRA (N13.5m) monthly! am.sure as a voter you know better now, Lol...
So, from these submissions, though still in needless secrecy! One is made to ask that how has these funds lifted people around the Senators and Rep Members as well as the Governors out of poverty for the benefit of the PEOPLE, believed to have voted them? Ab initio.
That's the fundamental issue that every sane voter must be interested in as we go to the polls again come 2023 by the grace of God.
Cynically soul politicians and voters are driven by the same spirit, "simply self"; this of course is our present thrust in the democratic space which make a mentality of no one must rise, so am not challenged, let me keep them perpetually hungry, or at my behest, at my becks and calls! That explains the peanuts you are either getting or not getting at all:
Let me ask despite the fact that you are a graduate and a sound one at that; why has it being impossible for them to use their offices to get you a job, or is that the duties of the Executive? Not the duties of the legislative as well as even the judiciary who is not voted. So the ones they get for their immediate families, where did they get it from? The contracts they take instead of getting you employed or the slot given to them that they have sold, whose pocket does the proceed goes?
Have you asked yourself, despite the fact that you are a businessman with a registered business outfit and good at what you do, why have not being counted worthy to be given a contract to execute? Have you asked why? Yet they get themselves contracts and even sell some.
For those who are not educated but are artisans, doing their jobs adequately, you are yet to be patronized but they buy their furnitures from Abuja, Dubai and other fittings from outside the nation and not you in their domain? Because you are not to get well and better in their eyes.
Some of the so called Constituency stuffs and so called gifts at Constituency levels are enough to float simple industries or factories where things are produced and a good number of people become "independent", they become one who can feed their homes and feed others around them and on stable bases not occassionally. Only when it is convinnence for you to smile in their own eyes.
A very good example.of this can be drawn from far north and Indian where family business thrives, see instances of Tissue papers, fired blocks, fancy blocks making and what have you!
I need to be explicit at this juncture, that as a voter, your right is not sub-zoomed but full and actually yours in all ramifications not excluding Constitutional.
What are laws made for? Why the making of the laws and what are the processes those who makes laws and still get jobs and contracts for their people go though? Why is yours different as a member of the Senate, Reps or Houses of Assembly or even as a Councilor or that of your Senator, Rep or Assembly member?
Can your people be played to the background as relegated and treated as valuable only when elections comes around and offices are for grab.
The man or woman who took you for a fool or an idiot is not wrong, it's you, who made yourself a counterfeit commotidy to be bought over the counters that is to be blamed!
He or she (of course the cheap buyer) is going home with all these stinkers, at least in a society that daily looses morals and no longer have values for human lives, as well as no place for dignity in the middle of no where.
As long as you make your self available for the oppressor, he or she will continue to see his or her decays as a right and what is worth doing well.
The game is simple, refuse the monies, largess (if any), as them for employment, empowerment to kick start real production outfit and not all these toys and decorators they are sharing.
Note that every person has his or her own competence, everyone has a pedigree of what he or she has done and not what he or she has brought to buy human-turned-to goods!
I tell you this, decided only for those that have the capacity to get you gainfully employed by fixing you in Federal Government jobs, State jobs and or make you independent employer of labour too, by sincerely empowering you and not slaving you through loans hanged to your neck but the due and diligent allocation of the CONSTITUENCY PROJECT which is enough to gainfully engage some that will in turn lift others up, you don't need to be anyone's errand boy or woman, sadly men answering boys during electioneering time is real pathetic and unfortunate.
2023, is not a.magibc is what YOU and I makes of it that will count again, and decided if truly we have ended our pains under Buhari or we are continuing after only God knows who!!!
