APC KOGI WEST CAMPAIGN COUNCIL SET KABBA AGOG , AS KOGI STATE HOUSE ASSEMBLY SPEAKER DECLARES LEGACY HOUSE OPENED...

The All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kogi State continued it's tactical outreach activities in the Western Senatorial District today in Kabba, the Headquarters of Kogi West under the leadership of the versatile, dynamic and humble Director General, Hon. Funsho Olumoko, also known as Ogidi Omo.

The event gathered the who is who in Kogi West, as the Secretary to State Government, Dr. Mrs. Folashade Ayoade graced the occasion.

The other dignitaries include the Honourable Commissioner for Education, Wemi Jones, Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties, Ade Ismail, , House of Assembly members from kogi west,   ALGON Chairman  Alhaji Taofeek Isa, the Kabba/Bunu Chairman, Hon Moses Tolorunleke, the vice Chair persons,  local governments  campaign Director Generals, Media heads and  other leaders 

The event witnessed goodwill messages from the three Federal Constituencies in Kogi West as they took their turn to admonish party members and charged them to remain focus towards winning the election, that this is not House of Reps elections, but Governorship.

The Speaker of kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon.  Yusuf Aliyu-Umar, who narrated the long relationship between the three Federal Constituencies of kogi West dated back to the time of  leaders, like Chief S.B Daniyan, Distinguish Senator Sunday Awoniyi and others,  have  come a long way than to be separated for anything that is selfish or parochial, reiterating that all the Federal Constituencies has a reason or the other to vote the continuity of the ruling national winning party, the APC in Kogi state in the forthcoming Governorship election, he thereafter declared the legacy house opened on behalf of the incoming Governor of the states, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, while appreciating the DG for that initiative. The speaker did not fail to add that Kogi West will not fail the party and its leaders stating from His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello CON.

In her  words, the SSG. enjoined all present to have APC as the only option, as she assured of the votes of the women, who heralded a thunderous response of YES, she then reminded the men to always carry the women along, stressing the need for team work.

Hon. Wemimo Jones took time to review the effect the University brought to Kogi West in Kabba, stating the Governor commitment to it has it just released N2b, he made an explanation on how it will positively improve the economic and developement of the state, noting analitically, that it has the capacity to generate an internal circulation of about N3.6b annually. The Commissioner for Education went ahead to enjoin the people of the kogi  West to vote enmass for Ododo/Joel ticket of APC.

The Director General, Hon. Funsho Olumoko, appreciated all for the prompt  attendance at the event, stating that, the turn out shows that the party in the West is ready to retain LUGARD House, he assured that all will be carried along in the scheme of things as he thanked the Governor, H.E Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the party for given him the opportunity to serve in this capacity while stating that he can't do it alone.

The DG, assured that, everyone will be rewarded for working hard for the party, he encouraged members to have open heart to one another and say bye to the days of anti-party, the DG stated  that his doors are opened to all for discussion as he pleaded that, all members should return home and preach the gospel of the APC, saying that, Kogi state is too big to tucked inside personal or tribal agenda.

The event also witnessed the inauguration of the Kogi West Campaign Council and an interactive session was held with members bearing their minds on the progress of the party towards 2023 Governorship election, assuring the party leader His Excellency, Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Adoza Bello CON, the party at the National and the President, H.E Senator  Bola Ahmed Tinubu of party victory come 11-11.23

No doubt Funsho Olumoko, a one time Chairman for Ijumuiyara LGA, with other positions of responsibilitie, even outside the shore of Kogi State, is indeed an icon to click.

He is popularly known and called Ogidi Omo and sometimes referred to by admirers as Oluomo I, as he is unarguably a silent achiever, whose works speaks for. He is known to impact positively on anyone he comes across.

Olumoko, has indeed grown through the ranks and still growing like a calculative soldier, who enlisted as a recruit and gradually rose through the ranks to that of a top red neck officer, while still accommodating to those below him, respect his colleagues and not  intoxicated by anything, proudly a listener and known for humility, that is guarded by a caring unadulterated milk heart.

His appointment as the Director General for Kogi West Campaign for Ododo/Joel 2023, did not come as a surprise in the slightest inch going so far, by the appointments he has made to hit the ground running.

The two appointments made thus far, has indeed confirmed his versatility and experience, which he has again deplored in arriving at the DGs for Ijumuiyara LGA, his home stead and Yagba East LGA, these wonderful two oeople, are no doubt loved by their people and will surely complement him, in the tasks ahead. 

It should be noted, that Olumoko has not abandoned what he is known for, which is carrying the  people along, consulting and going with the best possible hands for every duty.

He is one, whose beards has never outgrown that of his leaders, yet firm, diplomatic and focused.

We here sincerely charge him to go ahead and do more for the people, as we wish Funsho Olumoko, more wins and the best in discharging his duties without fear or favour.
