A team led by Comrade Dayo Onibiyo paid a visit to the Honourable member, representing the good people of Yagba Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber today, in Lokoja, preparatory to the event heralding  the change of baton tomorrow, by His Excellency Alhaji (Dr.) Yahaya Bello, the outgoing Governor, to the incoming Governor, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman.

The team which includes Hon. Rosemary Alabi from Yagba West, Hon. Ganiyu Yunusa from Ejuku and Alhaji Musa Saliu from Ife-Olukotun, appreciated the distinguish Honourable member for his politics of firmness, dynamism and accomodation, which they said has no doubt distinguished him, over time.

Comrade Onibiyo, used the opportunity of the visit to recall the circumstances that sandwiched the decision his team made during the last Governorship election and expressed his happiness that today, his worthy representative, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Customs and Excise has taken a bold step to relate with the Government of the day, as he reciprocated the initiation of the Government of the state, all in the communal and progressive indicative interest of his people, noting  that such critical decision deserves an applause from every progressive analytical mind, referring to the roles played by Hon. Leke  Abejide during the election of the President of the FRN- Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, concluding that, Leke wouldn't have been a visitor to APC, even at the national level.

In his response, the maveric and calm politician, sees the visit as brotherly and made it emphatically clear that, he was aware of the effort of the team leader to partner on the project during the last drive, which ultimately didn't work out, but stated that we should all look ahead, as he affirmed the fact that, he is still a member the ADC and a bonafied Nationalist in the APC, appreciating the effort of Mr. President in given a good path to Kogi state, which he said will be unfolding gradually, and that the relationship to develop the state is beyond party lines and one that must be pragmatic about it.

The team also appreciated Hon. Leke Abejide on his recent effort to revalidate, the devasted and near long-grave  Ponyan - Ife Olukotun road, as they prayed for God's continuous guidance for him.

Ododo Is God Sent For Goodness...

Hajiya Aminat Daniya, has sent her Congratulatory message to the Governor elect who Insha Allah shall be installed officially this Saturday 27th January, 2024 in Lokoja.

In her message, the leader of Aminat Daniya Network for Ododo appreciated the kindness and care extended to her, in a heartfelt tone, she said the incoming governor has been of great and tremendous assistance to her in her challenge and wish him more wins.

She called on Kogi sons and daughters, as well as all well wishers across the world to support the incoming administration to keep the state on positive track, which she said will surely, lead to more developement.

Addressing the media, she thanked the outgoing Governor, His Excellency Alhaji (Dr.) Yahaya Adoza Bello CON, the Executive Governor of the state, for producing Ododo as the next Governor and prayed that, God will keep him protected and provided for always.

Kogi State, North Central Nigeria is set to inaugurate it's 5th New Executive Governor, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, come 27th day of January, 2024.

Having had former Governors in persons of: H.E Late Prince Audu Abubakar, a.k.a Prince of the Niger, H.E Alhaji Idris Ibrahim, a.k.a Ibro baba oyoyo, H.E Captain Idris Wada and the outgoing Governor, H.E Alhaji Dr. Yahaya Adoza Bello CON, a.k.a White Lion, who has earned himself, the noble title of *FATHER of NEW KOGI* _(FNK)_ , having gloriously, established the possibility and reality of any true son or daughter of Kogi State becoming a Governor, irrespective of the tribe of such person.

The significance of this Inauguration is that, for the first time, an outgoing Governor is not handing over to an Igala man, but another tribe, an EBIRA, which from the history of Kogi State, has never being.

Yes, you may wish to refer to the Inauguration of Yahaya Adoza Bello from Capt. Idris Wada, which is from PDP to APC, which Captain Wada was not in attendance, and would have been an Igala handing over to another tribe, this is quite different as it's going to be an APC handing over to APC and a victory over tribalism as it is a victory that subdued and pronounced the dymistification of tribalism for popular acceptability.

You may also wish to refer to H.E Alhaji Idris Ibrahim,  to H.E Capt. Wada which was a continuation of tribal dominance after well over 17 years of rule by igalas.

The 2023 election, that produced this 5th different governor Inauguration, was clearly a battle fought on democratic lane that pitched tribal warlords, against freedom fighters.

While the Tribal warlords all wanted to have their tribe's men in place as Governor, the victorious freedom fighters insists we should have a Kogi where anyone can be a Governor irrespective of where he or she hails from!!!

This Inauguration, will therefore, be celebrated more, by those who are breathing and rejoicing over the new air of freedom and those with hope that, soon and one day it will also be their turn under the *IT MUST GO ROUND* scheme.

This hard won battle gives credence to some Igalas who are of the strong opinion and firm stand, that other tribes have the right to be Governors and don't have to wait for another Igala man to die to become a Governor in the 21st century, and to the wonderful people of Kogi West, who knows no one can do it alone and decided to pitch tent with team work to deliver Alhaji Ododo's Ahmed Usman, thereby waiting to enjoy the fruits from their effort after Ododo's tenure.

The ranks of tribal warlords is across the board as you have them in Igala, Ebira and Okun lands, but ultimately, those with the choice of *Governorship For All** had their way, as they cut across all the tribes in Kogi state and delivered on that mandate.

His Excellency, Dr. Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello CON, who will be seated galantly on the 27th of January, 2024 as the Chief Host, will no less be excited to witness such a day, when his successor will be formally enthroned and he takes a bow as a Governor who has had the constitutionally allowed eight (8) years.

After the Inauguration, what will be in the front burner no doubt, will be a review of Yahaya Bello's tenure for further improvement in areas where necessary and sustenance in areas where he has broken through, and a frantic search for new grounds which of course the incoming Governor, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, a finance expert, will be expected to fully engage professionals to help him set a workable standard and put the state on full course on new fronts, with the backing of the now experienced outgoing Governor, Alhaji Dr Yahaya Adoza Bello CON.

The _Inauguration of Inaugurations_ will no doubt be a landmark needed for a State that will ensure an across board engagement and people driven developement strides, without segregation, tribalism or sectionalism, and all hands will be expected to be on board to hit the ground running.

The Owner and Principal Consultant of Marychild Services Limited, Comrade Onibiyo E'Dayo, has called on the new Local Government Head in Yagba East LGA to use Agriculture as a means of driving new economy for the good people of Yagba East, in a bid to stop absolute reliance on Federal Allocation and to be able to give the people good sense of living.

The I.T and Developement Economic Consultant, insists, it's time to think outside the box and stop chasing struggling hard working and poor market women and men around every market days, saying nothing shows Revenue Consultancy in such barbaric and primitive act, which ends up reducing business outlets.

In his submission, a Consultant, is one, who creates job, new opportunities and get something off it for Government cum his or her own sweat's value and not feast on existing activities to make life unbearable for the people.

Onibiyo, added that, with the downturn of events, inflation, hike in pms price and escalating cost of livelyhood, it is time for Government to face reality and reduce reliance on the monthly Federal Government sharing of the lion from Abuja, stating that; if the rural areas must be developed and the lives of the residents improved and impacted on positively, then the managers who are today the Caretaker Chairmen must look inwards, consider peculiarities at their domain, locate access to knowledge, manpower and latch on the advantages therein to turn things around.

The days of celebrating  mediocrity in the Local Government should be a thing of the past, and concerted effort must be made to engage professionals to turn the LG to a gold hub and new market places where people come to trade and address specifics like food insecurities and formidable management.

In conclusion, the Consultant said, the valuable land resources should be taken advantage off, tapped deploring almost no technicalities or expensive rapid investment coupling together to have good use of the abundant potentials of LG staffers to get to work.

"We are targeting a revenue threshold of a =N=1 billion in three (3) years if the new administration will key into our submission, as a consortium" he concludes.
