*A MOBILE VISIT TO HON. LEKE ABEJIDE, MEMBER REPRESENTING YAGBA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY*
A team led by Comrade Dayo Onibiyo paid a visit to the Honourable member, representing the good people of Yagba Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber today, in Lokoja, preparatory to the event heralding the change of baton tomorrow, by His Excellency Alhaji (Dr.) Yahaya Bello, the outgoing Governor, to the incoming Governor, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman.
The team which includes Hon. Rosemary Alabi from Yagba West, Hon. Ganiyu Yunusa from Ejuku and Alhaji Musa Saliu from Ife-Olukotun, appreciated the distinguish Honourable member for his politics of firmness, dynamism and accomodation, which they said has no doubt distinguished him, over time.
Comrade Onibiyo, used the opportunity of the visit to recall the circumstances that sandwiched the decision his team made during the last Governorship election and expressed his happiness that today, his worthy representative, who is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Customs and Excise has taken a bold step to relate with the Government of the day, as he reciprocated the initiation of the Government of the state, all in the communal and progressive indicative interest of his people, noting that such critical decision deserves an applause from every progressive analytical mind, referring to the roles played by Hon. Leke Abejide during the election of the President of the FRN- Alhaji Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, concluding that, Leke wouldn't have been a visitor to APC, even at the national level.
In his response, the maveric and calm politician, sees the visit as brotherly and made it emphatically clear that, he was aware of the effort of the team leader to partner on the project during the last drive, which ultimately didn't work out, but stated that we should all look ahead, as he affirmed the fact that, he is still a member the ADC and a bonafied Nationalist in the APC, appreciating the effort of Mr. President in given a good path to Kogi state, which he said will be unfolding gradually, and that the relationship to develop the state is beyond party lines and one that must be pragmatic about it.
