Crystalizing Dish Of Votes In Yagba East, As APC Heads For The Tape...

The good people of Yagba East, did not only trooped out today to vote in the Local Government election, they did in unity and in a crystal clear format.

Distinguishing one political  party from the other, was just an impossibility in this election as those who came out, did in solidarity with the candidates of the APC, reflecting their sincere desire to have Dr. Dare Joshua Monday lead them as the next Executive Chairman and the Councilors who were returned all unopposed and massively voted for.

As at the time of going to Press, the APC candidates has already been declared in their various wards (5 pm), while the collation of results for the unopposed Chairman is still ongoing.

In ward 01, 1. Hon Musa Saliu, ward 02-  Hon James Kehinde, ward 03- Hon Sunday Adedayo, ward 04-  Hon Olusegun Silifat, ward 05- Hon Moses Funke, ward 06- Hon Taiwo Oluwaseyi, ward.07- Hon Balejo Adekunle, ward 08- Hon Jonah Mercy, ward 09- Hon Osafobi Oluwafemi and ward 10-  Hon Hezekiah Olorunleke, have all being declared winners.

The Secretary to the State Government, Popularly known as _Mama Cabinet_ who voted in Ife-Olukotun, expressed her joy over the turn out, which she confirmed as impressive and a sign of acceptability of what Governor Ododo is doing in continuation of the leadership of the former Governor, His Excellency Alhaji (Dr.) Yahaya Adoza Bello.

The Honourable Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, Mukadam Ashiru Asiwaju Idris, who took time in Isanlu, after voting to interract with the voters, expressed his appreciation to the people for conducting themselves in orderly manners, despite the low presence of security agents, which he said could only mean that, the APC, has come to stay for good.

SIEC was also applauded by the people for demilitarizing rhe election, using fewer numbers of security operatives, while those were around went about their duties with civility.

Other voters across the LG took their turn to cast their votes, whil, the people now awaits the official declaration of results.

Meanwhile, the APC family is full of joy as part of the entourage earlier visited the SSG, Dr. (Mrs.) Folashade Arike Ayoade to celebrate the victories thus far.

Headquarters of Yagba APC LG Election Operations Kicks Off In Style, As It Rolls Out It's Campaign Team- Media and Publicity

The Yagba East Local Government Area chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has set the ball rolling officially, for the Local Government election slated for Saturday, October 19th being piloted towards producing the next Council Chairman and Councilors in all the ten wards of the LGA.

The train is led in Council by the Chairman Hon. Rasak Ijagbemi, the immediate past Chairman of the LG and a Special Adviser to the Governor, ably Deputized by Hon. Jubril Ahmadu, former Special Adviser to the Governor and one time NANS number 2 in Nigeria, both of whom, will work directly with the DG Hon. Emmanuel Obaro current member for Yagba East LG Constituency in Kogi State House of Assembly and Deputy DG, Kabiyesi Hon. Samuel Adebola Ghadaffi, present Chief of Staff to the House of Representatives member for Yagba Federal Constituency.

The team has a 43-Man Main Council and seven different Committees, namely Women Mobilization led by Hon. Khadijat Suleiman as Chairperson, Entertainment Committee under the Chairmanship of Elder Hon. Dayo Ipinjaro, Transport and Logistic led by Hon. Friday Musa Kareem as Chairman, Legal under the leadership of Bar. Babatunde James Esq as Chairman, Contact and Mobilisation led by Hon. Abubakar Mutiu as Chairman, while the  Security and Intelligence is to be marshalled by Hon. Tayo Johnson who is the Chairman and the Media and Publicity led by Comrade Dayo Onibiyo as the Chairman, they are to be assisted by Committee Secretaries and Members across all the wards.

The party, in it's preparations, is leaving no stone untouched as it sees the need for synergy and team work as critical and a veritable tool in setting the tone for a developmental grass root administration agenda.

The Chairman of the party therefore, calls on all party members to rally round the Campaign Council for success at the coming poll.

He added that, the ultimate aim of the team is to deliver the party on the 19th of October with Honourable Dare Venza as it's flag bearer, becoming the next Executive Chairman of the LGA.

In his concluding words, the Chairman of the party said, "APC is what we put infront and our icon, and as such, we are all members of the Campaign Council"
