Isanlu Inaugurates New Executives Led By Engr. Eyitayo Akanbi...

ISANLU the Headquarters of Yagba Federal Constituency and Yagba East Local Government Area, will be a beehive of activities from the 25th through to the 26th of December as the community Inaugurates its Progressive Union Executives, under the leadership of Engr. Eyitayo Akanbi.

The Isanlu Progressive Union (IPU) has been years in formal existence and has passed on the baton successfully for leadership continuation and peaceful coexistence of the kingdom.

Friends, Sons and Daughters of Isanlu are expected from far and near, as the event falls in line with the spirit of the Christmas celebration and the new year. 

The event is expected to be graced by High Royal Majesty, Oba Dr Moses Etombi, the Agbana of Isanlu kingdom, all the kabiyesi of the kingdom, a foremost educationist and one-time Minister of Health, Prof. Eyitayo Lambo, the immediate past National President Mr Dayo Kayode, the Honourable Commissioner for Finance and Economic Development, Mukadam Ashiru Asiwaju Idris FCA, former Federal House of Representatives member for Yagba Federal Constituency Chief T J Faniyi, Chief Gloria Itiveh, The Yeye Oba of Isanlu, Pastor Toyin Akanle, a retired top Security Chief, Chief Engr Osasona(The Bobagunwa of Isanlu), Engr Aliko, Engr Boaz Owojaye, Capt Arongbonlo, Mr Sesan Akanbi, Engr. Kunle Arungbemi, Engr. J. K Odeyemi, Members of the IPU Social and Cultural Committee, Isanlu Students Union and other dignitaries.

The event is slated for 10 am on the 26th of December, 2024 at the Isanlu Palace and gala dinner night at ARYDET Hotels, Akanbi Avenue, along African Church Secondary School,  Isanlu.

Other, several activities are slated for the day as side attractions and fostering more unity of purpose for Isanlu, as it promises to be a lasting event to the memory.

Our lens and pen, caught up with this maveric young, accomodative, intelligent, vibrant and large heart community builder, with great team work rate and ability: whose stand is not surprising, going by his family antecedents and that of his departed father, an educationist and thorough bread-disciplinarian who seek the good of all, Late Dr. S O Akanbi of blessed memory.

Engr Tayo, popularly known and called _small body, big engine_ by friends, lovers, admirers, and development oriented future exploring fellows, is no doubt, one of the wonders that came from the Akanbis Dynasty in Isanlu land of Yagba East LGA of Kogi State, North Central of Nigeria.

The dynamic and energetic level headed Director of the Standards  Organisation Of Nigeria, with acronym SON, is one who relates with all and respect everyone he comes across in the discharge of his duties and in services to humanity. Engr Tayo is a listeners and an always ready to learn person.

The young man, does not see any need for discrimination whatsoever, believing in the equality but equity of mankind, as ordained by God the supreme and Almighty, who no one can question.

The graduate of the prestigious Almadu Bello University ABU,Zaria and Master's degree in Metallurgy and Materials Science Engineering from University of Lagos whose speciality is in Engineering,does not joke with development of youths, people and particularly, his people in OKUN land, that, which has endeared the Youths in Okun land to him, with the maxim of charity begins from home, emanating and radiating from him, as he is the warm embrace of Isanlu Students Union as the chairman Advisory committee of the Union and from time immemorial indeed he had also participated actively and severally.

He has no doubt, move to the golden touch of harvesting from his unparalleled love for his community, where today he is the newly elected National President of the Isanlu Progressive Union known as IPU, he chose to be called the _Servant of Development_ , this remain a global phenomenon for all sons and daughters of the great kingdom of Isanlu,home and diaspora and the residents alike.

He will be formally inaugurated on 26th December, 2024 in Isanlu as it's being the tradition for decades with special touches that comes with refined modernity and progress that will speak to knitted unity and a great signal to run AN ALL INCLUSIVE ADMINISTRATION that will make development geometric in Isanlu and environs and all these will be to the glory of God Almighty, as his thirst for the precious word of God is next to none.

A young man, who is already feasting with elders on the pedestal of wisdom and blessings from above is no doubt, expected to do less than advance to the people with things, that they can feel with joy, see with jubilation and be proud about as time counts.
