EBO OPE On Basin Mountain Kicks Off Tuesday With The Precious Lord Leading...

The vibes and aura of the 5th edition of the most expected spiritual filled annual event hits the ancient capital city of Ilorin, as preparations for the three-day event climaxed  at Ori Oke (mountain) Basin, a leading prayer mountain in Nigeria.
The spiritual gathering meant for praising the Lord Almighty yearly, also serves as a strong praying chains for the people who often beats religious lines to attend, as testimonies of deliverance from the shackles of illnesses, progress in academics, business breakthrough and other facets of life has been the hallmark of the event.

EBO OPE meaning "Sacrifice of Praise" attracts people from all walks of life from far and near as they gather to raise their voices unto the Lord yearly.
This year's theme is rolling with the theme KOKORO DAFIDI (KEY OF DAVID) taken from the Biblical verses of Old Testament Isaiah 22:22 and the New Testament Revelation 3:7.

The founder and spiritual head of the event, Primate Alashi Obasanjo, also known as SOJ is inviting all members of the public to attend the event to lift the name of most precious Almighty God to the high heaven, as the team members assured that, none of the event has gone without spiraling testimonies of the Lord’s massive goodness and turn around for good in the lives following each edition.
As usual, this edition will be featuring different ministers of God, Spirit filled Singers and Prayer Warriors like Baba Prophet Taiwo Ojo, Segun Ajidara, Dare Melody, Bunmi Akinanu, Apekeola, Agbodu Twins, Timmysax Global, J Mercy Governor General, Elijah Akintunde, Kemi Oge, Shade Taiwo, KC Music. Taiwo Ojodu, Ayo Solem, the Best and the father of mixed sensational gospel music Yinka Ayefe, some of whom have featured in one or the other editions of Ebo Ope on Basin Mountain.
The event starts on Tuesday 25th through to Thursday 27th November, 2025 starting from 6pm to 12 am daily as tagged Kwara Praise Festival with Kwara Christian Community, C & S Movement No.1 and Christian Association of Nigeria active participation.

The Rebuilding of Wokowomu:  ECWA GIRLS now ECWA Secondary School ...

Some few months ago, the children of appreciation who completed their secondary education or passed through ECWA Girls Secondary School (now ECWA Secondary School) located between Omuaran and Oko, popularly called Woko-Womu (meaning look at Oko and look at Omuaran, having being located in between the two towns) came together to pick the pieces of the school as a result of the long neglect by Government, ECWA and the Communities, in an effort to put it back in place for the purpose of the children presently schooling in the school, led by the Old Girls known as WOSA- Wokowomu Girls Students Association.

Three months after the call for help, WOSA has been able to put in place two classrooms in one block and has chosen Thursday the 20th of November, 2025 to show case the effort thus far and to call for more hands to support the rebuilding of the school.

This Initiative by WOSA is calling on ECWA in Omuran, Oko, Kwara State, spirited individuals and the Government to help the school come back on its feet.
