Alhaji Yusuf Babatunde Abdulwahab Sues for peace in this Sallah celebration...

The maverick Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Yusuf Abdulwahab has sued for peace in the forthcoming Sallah celebration in the State.

He said this in Ilorin, on the need for peaceful celebration, pointing out that the event is one that marks the very existent of the most High God and His prophet, Mohammed SAW.

He said, His Excellency, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed is committed to peace in the State and beyond. 

The Chief of Staff, called on any aggrieved person or persons to embrace peace and make their requests amicably, stating emphatically that the responsible Government of Alhaji Ahmed will look at every matter holistically and objectively.

Alhaji Abdulwahab, while felicitating ahead with Muslims.and none Muslims alike, stated that, this year's celebration should be devoid of any violence and rancour, saying that the holy ground should not be a place to settle scores in acrimony, he enjoined Kwarans and residents not to allow themselves to be used for anything inimical or negative.

Going further, he reminded the people of the effort of the State Governemt to remain committed to keeping its responsibilities to its teeming populace.

He reminded the people.to emulate the good behaviour of Prophet Ibrahim in keeping his promise, while stressing that, people should do within their means and stay a way from trouble.
