Yahaya Bello's Birthday Disappointment- Kogi PDP

The PDP party in Kogi has expressed disappointment at  the fact that the Governor of the state's birthday since coming to office has not been used to commission any project or touch lives of people of the state, running to six years in office.

The statement regretted that, the misplacement on the word "youth" as being wrongly  attached to the name of the Governor is one of the many problems associated with his youthful exuberance, which going by United Nations declaration, is pegged at 24 and the African Union charter at 35, hence the Governor should hence, behave like an adult and face the serious business of governing the state, as it refers:  "You will recall that Gowon even ruled Nigeria at age 29, and wasn't like this", others may include Donald Duke and co..

The statement noted that, "the idea of importing football stars to the state with state hard earned money and borrowed loans should not be encouraged, as it will only lead to more capital flights and a big minus to the states lean purse, while noting also that those people won't vote at APC Presidential Primaries.

The PDP in it's statement signed by the Director, Media & Communications, Comrade Dayo Onibiyo, enjoins the Governor to emulate other Governors and leaders who use their birthdays to touch lives of the needy, the sick, the down troden and of course the masses, who today should have been celebrating along with him.

The PDP therefore, wish the Governor God's grace at his birthday, and appealed to him, to use his office to serve humanity as a way of saying thank you GOD Almighty.

The statement ends, by wishing, that the next birthday will be marked commissioning laudable projects for the state and witnessing dramatic reduction in the debts acquired for the state by him.

DEMOCRACY DAY: From Here, Away From Egypt In 2023 in Kogi State- Kogi PDP

We are constrained to issue a red alert to the great people of our state, on the occasion of this year's Democracy Day, as the very species of democratic norms are getting more endangered in the hands of APC and Mr. Yahaya Bello, particularly in respect to his perpetual marriage to debts embedded in financial slavery, which our state has been knitted to in less than 6 years of his Government and party, this has so much destroyed the economic base of the state; that aside God's grant of life to residents, nothing to celebrate in the once proud state, that connects virtually everywhere in the country.

"We are worried that, all we hear, see and feel is the gymnastic of hydra headed daily pilling debts, arising from barrage of legions of untamed none production borrowings by the young man, as he likes to be referred to, unfortunately throwing the state into an economic desert and a ridicule in the committee of states." was contained in a statement signed by the party's Director for Media and Communications, Comrade Dayo Onibiyo.

Sadly, these shinanigan, are pampered and encouraged by the Presidency that does not see a need for check on this uneconomic manouvers, that now bleeds the heart of the state, as the country's tale is not any better but retrogressives. The fact that Kogi state is dangerously a bother to the federal capital of the nation makes it more disturbing..

We seem left with only an option, to call on all residents and indigens of Kogi state to pick up there damaged democratic  and scattered electoral values come 2023 to flush out the APC at the state as did in 2019 with more resolve to protect their votes this time around, having done same in  2019, but were overwhelmed by powers against truth and popular wish of the people.

The PDP notes now, that more than ever before, the need for good government is now every persons business and not any person's business.

We call on you all, to hardened your prayers to God Almighty for new lease of life as done by the Israelites in their prayers under disgraced king Pharao, as we use this occasion to pray for peace to return to our state, nation, her people.

One can not but wonder, when a state government issued statement saying "protesters of June 12, will have themselves to blame", while this present democracy it's self is a.protest of June 12, that tells you the brand of disconnected people leading us today.

This is one of the several reasons why it is important to ask for divine spirit to survive these terrible economic and poor security situations for all Nigerians beyond 2023, when a brand new government will be enthroned and the nation rescued from the hands of terrorists, kidnappers, masses brute-masters, day-light treasury looters and oppressors of freedom of speech by God's grace.
