Ten Million Naira (N10m) Bridged Electricity Return, By Hon. Chief Mukadam Idris Ashiru For Isanlu Today...

Today, at the Kajola Owode Road Isanlu Flag Off by Honourable Elder Leke Abejide, member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the good people of Yagba Federal Constituency and Chairman House Committee on Excise, the Honourable Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Development for Kogi State filled the gap for Isanlu electricity return.

His Royal Highness, the Oba of Isanlu, Oba Moses  Etombi had announced that, they had concluded the issue of electricity with the appropriate authorities and that the sum of ten million naira (N10m) was needed to restore the system, he told the Governor to help in this direction, just as he asked for other things for his people and himself. The Chairman Yagba East Traditional Council emphasised the need to have light back in the town.

In his own response, the Honourable Commissioner, a son of the soil, agreed voluntarily to clear the bill, by paying the ten million Naira(N10m) onbehalf of the community and in honour of his visiting Governor, H.E Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman.

This was to the charging of the crowd who had gathered to witness the flag Off of the road as indicated above.

The people rejoiced over this, that brought the event to a double barrel, and this charged the environment.
