"We Are Playing Politics Of Kogi State, Not Politics Of Opposition" Governor Ododo

His Excellency, the working and people oriented Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman has announced that, what is going on in Kogi State today, is about the development of Kogi State and not politics of bitterness, hate, violence or anything that will divide the good people of Kogi State.

He is happy to be in Yagba Land having went from Mopamuro to Yagba West and back to Yagba East to Flag Off the Kajola Owode Road, in Isanlu Makutu being undertaken by member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Elder Leke Abejide, who is also the House Committee Chairman on Customs and Excise.

Speaking at the event, the Governor, was deliberate about the oneness in the state and why it should be cherished by all and protected.

He made reference to the fact, that, Elder Leke Abejide has been supportive to his Government, despite contesting the election with him, using Governor Ododo's word, "he has saved the state money and time that would have being wasted in legal battles, if he had gone to court", he opined that he did not only refuse to go to court but offers him advices and he indeed is a brother.

The Governor, said Honourable Leke was elected by his people to serve them and he is serving them well. He used the medium to also call on Honourable Elder Leke Abejide, Alhaji Hassan Salah, the longest serving political party Chairman in Kogi State, to join the APC. He assured them, that things can only get better.

The Governor, appealled to all residents, sons and daughters of Kogi State to remain one and indivisible, as the development of Kogi State is supreme.
